My Dear and Faithful WNE'ers:
As you may know, WNE was founded with the intention of not only selling cool shirts,
but to also be a bulletin board for other New England businesses and organizations.
I wanted to put all things NE in the spot light, to promote the support of local businesses
and give the world a taste of everything that's awesome about NE. . . .
and let's be real: there's so much!
You may also know that WNE merchandise up to this point (except for a couple of
custom orders) was printed via a print-on-demand company in Colorado. That was
only because as a one-woman-show, I didn't exactly have the means to instantly create
a warehouse of merchandise. :-) Although outsourcing production was only a means
to an end (the end being launching WNE), that contradiction never sat well with me.
Anyway, along this journey of trying to make it all happen, I have been forced to admit
that I can't create my perfect vision of WNE by myself - and I am one of those stubborn
folks who thinks, If you can't do it right, don't do it at all. It is for this reason that I have
decided to temporarily halt production on WNE merchandise.
Try not to cry. I know it's hard to hear. I promise you - WNE is not dead! I just have to
rethink how to really do it right. As an aside: if you're a well-to-do business person
who'd enjoy a meeting with a ridiculously ambitious and creative idea machine like me,
feel free to be in touch! ;-)
